Product information

Our products are based on honey. We have developed a unique process to bring it to a solid state at room temperature, without adding any substances (natural or synthetic) to the honey to achieve this solid state. Honey is purchased from a controlled source. There is not yet sufficient data on the long-term effects of artificial sweeteners and flavourings. Honey has been consumed for thousands of years. This speaks for itself.

Honey makes up a significant proportion of our products, made up of simple sugars. They are fast-absorbing, rapidly digestible substances that quickly provide energy to organisms. In addition, herbal and/or fruit extracts and concentrates also help to enhance the beneficial effects of honey.

Thanks to the use of only honey and natural ingredients, the taste of our products is unmistakable.

Our products are made with honey and natural additives, so there are no known risks associated with their consumption. Please read the product ingredients carefully before consumption.

There are no known adverse side effects of honey consumption. Of course, it is advisable to consume it to a reasonable extent. In the case of additives, please refer to the recommended maximum daily intake, which can be found on the product packaging. The product is considered a carbohydrate by weight, so in the case of diabetes, it is recommended to calculate the amount of carbohydrate intake by the weight of the pastille.

Honey is a very complex substance whose nutritional values have been known for centuries. Some of its constituents have a strong hygroscopic effect, drawing water away from the environment, killing many of the pathogens in their environment. One of the properties of honey is that when it comes into contact with water, hydrogen peroxide is formed, which further enhances its antiseptic properties. Honey also has a number of beneficial effects on the body. Honey's natural enzymes, minerals and trace elements have beneficial effects on stress, osteoporosis, digestion and the immune system. Many so-called 'varietal' honeys, made from the nectar of a particular plant, can have specific effects on stomach acid production, varicose vein problems, prostate problems, and some studies have even attributed a role in fighting cancer.

More and more research is being done on honey for its beneficial effects on upper respiratory tract infections. Several studies show that, especially at a young age, honey consumption may be preferable to antibiotics for mild symptoms. Our product, liquid
unlike honey, it stays in the mouth for longer, so it takes longer to work its magic in the mouth and throat.

Some research has shown that honey consumption can be a good complement to traditional reflux therapy because it forms a coating on the mucous membrane of the throat. As our product stays in the mouth for a longer period of time, it also has a longer duration of action, improving the quality of life of the consumer.

Several scientific studies have shown that honey, thanks to its properties, can be used successfully to heal wounds. Honey has anti-inflammatory effects and stimulates the body's immune response. The osmotic properties and pH of honey have an antibacterial effect, thus reducing
the over-infection of wounds. Honey also forms a coating on the mucous membranes, so the consumption of the pastille provides a long-lasting effect. Since all our products are based on honey, these properties, in addition to their enjoyment value, are always enjoyable. Some of our products also contain natural antiseptic extracts (e.g. cinnamon, cloves) and additives (e.g. propolis) that further enhance the honey's effect.

The use of cinnamon as a medicinal agent and spice dates back to Egyptian times. In addition to its distinctive flavour, scientific research has confirmed its many beneficial effects on human health. In our product, instead of the dried, powdered cinnamon traditionally used, we use a cinnamon extract, available today using the most modern extraction process available, which is produced using 26 kg of cinnamon for every kilogram of extract. This has the additional advantage of containing many of the ingredients that are available in powder form. This extract contains high concentrations of antioxidants found in cinnamon, which protect the body from harmful oxidative processes. Due to its high antioxidant content, cinnamon can even be used as a natural food preservative. It has also been shown to be effective in fighting antibacterial and fungal infections, and together with honey, it is an effective way of fighting infections in the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract. In addition to this action, its anti-inflammatory and tissue repair properties are very important. Cinnamon has also been shown to have beneficial effects on the prevention of heart disease, complemented by its antihypertensive and cholesterol-lowering properties. Some research suggests that cinnamon significantly reduces insulin resistance, thus lowering blood sugar levels. There is also promising research on the positive effects of cinnamon on cancer, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.

Propolis can also be successfully used internally against a wide range of infections and inflammations. It has a vasodilating and blood pressure regulating effect and inhibits bacterial growth. Regular consumption keeps the body's general resistance at a high level. It has also been shown to be effective against rhino and herpes viruses. Propolis inhibits the growth of fungi and viruses. It may be beneficial in the healing of wounds from dental and oral surgery procedures, and in the treatment of oral aphta and other infections.

Similar to cinnamon, our product uses a clove extract, the most modern extraction process available today, which is produced using 6 kg of cloves per kilogram of extract. The effects of honey and cinnamon are effectively complemented by clove extract. The eugenol contained in cloves is one of the most effective natural anti-inflammatory agents, which can be used effectively for the most stubborn inflammations. This property is complemented by a mild anaesthetic effect. Clove extract can be used effectively to reduce sore throats and relieve dry coughs. Eugenol also has beneficial effects on blood sugar levels. Other beneficial effects of cloves include digestive, anti-stress and breath freshening properties.

Matcha tea

Matcha tea is a Japanese drink with a centuries-old tradition. The tea plant is shaded from the sun during the ripening process, so that the shoots accumulate an extraordinary amount of chlorophyll and nutrients: this shading process gives the tea its outstanding bright green colour, special aroma and high vitamin content. One of the interesting features of this process is that the shading does not make the tea taste astringent, but slightly sweet. The tea is harvested once a year, when the plant is at the peak of ripening. Harvesting is done by hand and only the best quality leaves are collected. They are dried and ground into a very fine powder. The powder contains high levels of caffeine and L-Theanine, which, thanks to its slow absorption, provides the body with lasting energy. Thanks to its high chlorophyll content, it has an extremely high antioxidant content (14 times higher than blueberries), protecting the body against cancer, weakening the immune system and ageing processes, and is also a natural detoxifier. L-Theanine increases concentration, alertness and mental energy, while calming and relaxing, reducing stress. It has beneficial effects on cardiovascular diseases, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels. In addition to speeding up metabolism, it helps to break down fat cells.

Frequently asked questions

Our company uses a unique technology to bring honey to a solid state at room temperature without using any additives to achieve this state. As a result, the product, if we are talking about a natural product, contains only honey, i.e. 100%. Our other products contain mainly honey and, in addition, the natural substances indicated on the packaging.

Unlike honey in its traditional form, which is a sticky, liquid substance, our products are dry, solid pastilles at room temperature. Their consumption is recommended primarily as sucking tablets, but they can also be used dissolved in liquids (e.g. tea, coffee, lemonade).

Honey has been used since ancient times as a food, sweetener and medicine. A growing number of scientific studies attribute honey with many medicinal properties, especially for upper respiratory diseases. Many studies have found honey to be more beneficial for minor throat problems than antibiotics. We have "only" changed the consistency of the honey, its effects are not diminished during processing.

However, the added active ingredients should not be forgotten. You can read about their effects on the packaging or on the leaflet next to the product.

Our products contain mainly concentrated honey and, depending on the product, mainly natural active ingredients. The contents of each product, with the exact quantities per paste, can be found on the product packaging. Please read the relevant information before consumption.

The product contains approximately 2.1 grams of carbohydrate per pastille. This should be included in the daily carbohydrate allowance.

Our products do not contain any additives that help to achieve and maintain a solid state. Pastilles retain their physical and content characteristics when stored at 25 ⁰C, protected from sunlight and radiant heat. At higher temperatures, the pastilles may deform, lose shape or become soft and malleable. These changes typically affect only the shape of the pastille and have no effect on its consumability (e.g. taste, colour, etc.).

Each of our products has a 'best before' date on the box for the products in that pack. Although excavations have found honey that was thought to be edible more than 4,000 years ago, once the best-before date has expired, everyone consumes the product at their own risk.

The pastille may lose its shape due to the storage temperature. In this case, check whether the aluminium sealing film of the primary packaging has been damaged. If not, we recommend the following:

  • if the pastille is still warm and melted, place the product in a cool, dry place with the plastic film side (blisters) down. Once the product has solidified, you can remove it from the packaging without damage
  • if the pastille is no longer warm and has stuck to the aluminium foil, heat the product above the melting point (e.g. place it in a window or on a warm radiator) with the plastic side of the packaging facing downwards. If the melted product has run down into the plastic nest, place the packaging in a dry, cool place. Once the product has cooled, pastilles can be removed from the packaging without damage.

If the metal sealing film is damaged, the pastille has probably absorbed moisture, which can make it sticky. This does not mean that its consumability has changed. We recommend that in such cases, if it can be removed from the packaging, it should be consumed immediately. If removal is not possible, place the product in the freezer until it has solidified. It can then be easily removed from the packaging and consumed.
